Recommended Sitter-to-Child Ratio Guide
Choosing the appropriate sitter-to-child ratio is essential to ensure every child receives safe, attentive, and high-quality care. While there is no universal standard, the ideal ratio depends on each child's age, level of independence, individual needs, and the level of supervision required.
As a general recommendation, we suggest the following:
- Infants (0–12 months): 1 babysitter for 1 infant to provide dedicated, attentive care, especially for newborns and full-day bookings.
- Toddlers (1–3 years): 1 babysitter for 1–2 children, depending on their independence, activity level, and care requirements.
- Preschoolers (3–5 years): 1 babysitter for up to 3 children, provided no child requires additional or specialized support.
- School-Age Children (6+ years): 1 babysitter for up to 4 children, as older children generally require less direct supervision.
For families with a newborn, children with special needs, or children requiring extra attention, we strongly recommend assigning one dedicated babysitter per child to ensure the highest level of safety, comfort, and personalized care.
